| Purpose of the Program:
Cross Country Saskatchewan is reintroducing the Loppet Passport
Program to acknowledge and encourage the many dedicated recreational
skiers in the Province. The Loppet Passport Program is intended
to promote participation in loppet events throughout the province
and acknowledge the accomplishments of recreational skiers.
How It Works:
- Each participant should send a note to CCS either through
e-mail
ccs@sasktel.net
or regular mail indicating that you wish to participate in
the program.
- The CCS membership card provided by your ski club has a
list of the loppets that are participating in the Passport
Loppet Series. If this is not available, you can download
the
Adobe
Acrobat Reader .PDF version of the Loppet Passport
or photocopy the Loppet Passport Form that is printed in the
Nordic News.
- When you complete an event that is in the Premium Loppet
Series, have a Deregistration Official sign or punch the membership
card or form.
- At the end of the season, submit the completed form to CCS
for verification.
- Awards will be presented at the AGM as follows
- Gold Medal: Complete an event at 6 of the 7 passport
loppets
- Silver Medal: Complete an event at 5 of the 7 passport
loppets
- Bronze Medal: Complete an event at 4 of the 7 Passport
loppets
