Agenda (In conjunction with 2025 Saskatoon Sask Cup Races)

Friday: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. (2 hours: Introduction and Race Planning) - classroom

 Saturday: 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. (3 hours: Competition Secretariat + Risk Management)- classroom

 Saturday Race: (~3 hours: Course and Stadium) - outside observing the races

 Saturday: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. (3 hours: Competition Rules and Para Nordic) - classroom

 Sunday: 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. (2 hours: Timekeeping and Scoring Part 1)

 Sunday Race: (~3 hours: Timekeeping and Scoring Part 2, Competition Control and Competition Security)

 ·                 Bring outdoor clothing as we’ll be outside during the races on Saturday and Sunday

  • Bring a lunch and drink, ideally in a small backpack, as we may have to eat and drink outside during races on Saturday and Sunday

  • The goal is to finish the course by the end of Sunday races so participants can depart when athletes and coaches do

  • This course is normally taught through 16 hours of class time; we are trying a variation of 10 hours class time and +/-6 hours observing races

  • There are 11 modules to complete. Topics are listed above. PDFs of presentations will be provided for participants’ reference after the course

  • Information on registration, and pre- and post-course online tests will follow
