Agenda (In conjunction with 2025 Saskatoon Sask Cup Races)
Friday: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. (2 hours: Introduction and Race Planning) - classroom
Saturday: 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. (3 hours: Competition Secretariat + Risk Management)- classroom
Saturday Race: (~3 hours: Course and Stadium) - outside observing the races
Saturday: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. (3 hours: Competition Rules and Para Nordic) - classroom
Sunday: 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. (2 hours: Timekeeping and Scoring Part 1)
Sunday Race: (~3 hours: Timekeeping and Scoring Part 2, Competition Control and Competition Security)
· Bring outdoor clothing as we’ll be outside during the races on Saturday and Sunday
Bring a lunch and drink, ideally in a small backpack, as we may have to eat and drink outside during races on Saturday and Sunday
The goal is to finish the course by the end of Sunday races so participants can depart when athletes and coaches do
This course is normally taught through 16 hours of class time; we are trying a variation of 10 hours class time and +/-6 hours observing races
There are 11 modules to complete. Topics are listed above. PDFs of presentations will be provided for participants’ reference after the course
